Our journey commenced when the Artist and Educator, Verity-Jane Keefe, shared her remarkable, long-cherished vision. Having dedicated years to its development, we proudly accepted the challenge of bringing her concept to life. Collaborating with Channel Architecture and the esteemed Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), our mission was clear: to transform Verity-Jane's extraordinary vision into a tangible reality. This project unfolded in alignment with the Becontree Estate's centenary, a momentous occasion celebrating the diverse architectural styles and finishes adorning its properties. In response, we embarked on the creation of a modular exhibition and its accompanying furniture. A striking feature of this was our use of an array of finishes and materials, artfully melded to reflect the rich diversity of the Becontree Estate's architecture. This extraordinary showcase found its home within the setting of the RIBA HQ in Portland Place, where it stood as a testament to innovation, creativity, and the enduring spirit of the Becontree residents for all to behold.
